Jordan Pollard
Head Coach
My name is Jordan Pollard. And I have one simple mission. That is to help as many people as possible to achieve their athletic goals.
I have had a pretty crazy life, which I will cover as briefly as possible so you guys can better get to know me. I am a personal trainer and online coach. I have had over 15 years of experience in the industry, having trained clients from all over the world.
Originally, I am from Melbourne, Australia and one of my proudest achievements growing up was playing Australian rules football in the Victoria Football League, which is the semi-professional competition one under the AFL, Australia’s premier football competition.
During this time I was studying a double degree in Business and Sports Science at Deakin University while also working as a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach. I worked at some pretty cool places such as Melbourne Storm, Fire Rescue Victoria and the infamous Elite Sports Performance.
I was lucky enough to work with some amazing people during this time, professional athletes such as Collingwood captain and premiership superstar Scott Pendlebury, The Melbourne Storm big 3 Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk and Billy Slater. As well as the Malaysia Sprint Cycling team, which Azizulhasni Awang was a part of.
In 2017, I packed up my life in Melbourne and moved to the UK where I lived and worked for 2 years in London. I work at a high end gym called Bodyism which was founded by James Duigan. An Aussie trainer who has worked with the likes of Elle Macpherson and Hugh Grant. Some of the superstars that trained at this facility include the likes of David Beckham and Rita Ora.
While working in London I got a job offer that saw me relocated to Abu Dhabi to open Bodyism’s newest location. This was an experience I could have never envisioned and was one that I’ll always fondly remember. It was here that I was lucky enough to work with members of the UAE royal family.
I was based in Abu Dhabi for 2 years and during that time I also launched my online training business.
Since then I have coached a wide variety of people including some elite college student-athletes from America.
At the start of 2020, I had a freak accident while playing football in Dubai, which saw me suffer a broken femur and also a ruptured ACL. Following a lengthy stint in hospital and surgery to fix the damage, covid hit, so I decided it was best to pack up and head back to Melbourne.
It was good timing as the world basically went into shutdown mode and I was able to focus on my recovery while spending quality time with my friends and family. I love nothing more than hanging out with my mates, my partner Jayde and our dog, Arty who is a mini cavoodle.
Fast forward to today my focus is still the same. I work with clients both on an in-person basis as well as online. I provide them with customised training programs that are tailored to their unique needs.
Whether they are looking to lose weight, build muscle, increase their fitness, become more athletic or simply improve their overall health and well-being, I like to think I am here to help.
My coaching philosophy is simple. It is to provide my clients with a fun, professional, and caring approach that will help them achieve their goals, sustainably.
I believe in the power of hard work, consistency and practicality in achieving optimal results.
